Compton Associates, Founded 1990

Compton Associates was started by R. Tom Compton, AIA in August of 1990.  With four years of experience in a large Architectural firm and seven years experience as Corporate Architect for a development company, R. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in design, development and Architecture.  Since its founding, Compton Associates (CA) has been fortunate to have the opportunity to design and implement projects for so many great clients with so many different goals.  This diversity of experience along with a continuing interest in creativity and innovation have become the catalyst for successful building solutions.

Architecture and Technology

The practice of Architecture has become technology driven.  Not only has the production of documents become completely dependent on the computer, but the sharing of that information through the connectivity of the internet has made it possible to assemble "expert" teams to achieve specific goals for the client.  At Compton Associates, it is the mixture of personal attention you get by using a small firm combined with our experience at assembling your team, for whatever or wherever your project demands, that makes this type of organization work for you.
